With the commissioning and grid connection of 8 units 1600kW diesel generator sets supplied by GenTIS, our professional capabilities and prompt delivery have once again garnered high recognition from the end-user and professional distributor. These GenTIS generator sets are deployed in a town in Northern Europe, serving as the primary power station to provide reliable electricity for the local community of 300,000 residents.

The power station is powered by UK Cummins QSK60G3 engine as the engine for our Gen-Set, coupled with Leroy-Somer high-voltage alternator (11kV). All 8 units DG sets operate in parallel and connected to the grid.

A key feature of this power station is intelligent program control:
Units #1 to #6 DG sets operate in parallel 24/7.
Unit #7 DG sets is activated on demand based on fluctuations in the user’s load.
Unit #8 DG set operates under an intelligent rotating standby system. It rests intelligently and replaces Unit #1 every 12 hours, creating a continuous, uninterrupted cycle.

Supplied alongside the generator sets were a series of paralleling and grid connection HV panels & switchboards designed by GenTIS. These enable the new GenTIS sets to operate in parallel both with the user’s existing local generator sets and with the main electrical grid.
